Used engine blocks
Used cast-iron and aluminium engine blocks for remanufacturers and metal recyclers.

Used steel railway rails for re-rolling, steel melting and selected reuse. Quoted by rail profile, steel grade where known, length and preparation.
| Attribute | Detail |
|---|---|
| Material | Carbon-manganese rail steel, separated from mixed ferrous scrap |
| Profiles | For example 60E1 (UIC 60), 54E1 (UIC 54), 49E1 and imperial lb/yd sections |
| Steel grade | Identified from rolling marks or records, or by testing |
| Preparation | Full lengths, random lengths or cut lengths; fishplates and fastenings removed or listed |
| Condition | Head wear, corrosion, bends and cracks recorded |
| Reuse | Track reuse needs separate engineering acceptance |
| Grade | What it means |
|---|---|
| R260 | EN 13674-1 standard-carbon rail steel (260–300 HB). The most common grade in service. |
| R200 / R220 | Lower-hardness EN 13674-1 grades found on older or lightly used lines. |
| R260Mn / R320Cr | Higher-strength manganese and chromium-alloyed grades. |
| R350HT | Head-hardened (heat-treated) rail for curves and heavy-haul track. |
| Rerolling rails | Sound rails selected for re-rolling into bars and sections. |
| Cut rails | Rails cut to a maximum length, for example 3 ft, 2 ft or 18 in and under, for furnace charging. |
| Random lengths | Uncut or long cut rails, sized to fit the agreed transport. |
| Format | Configuration |
|---|---|
| Strapped bundles | Rails of one profile and length, strapped for crane lifting. |
| Container loading | Cut to fit, for example under 5.8 m for a 20 ft container. |
| Bulk loading | Loose loading on flat racks or vessel holds, by agreement. |
Re-rolling mills, electric-arc and induction furnaces, and engineering reuse after inspection.
The profile is the shape and weight of the rail, such as 60E1 at about 60 kg per metre. The grade is the steel quality, such as R260.
Only after an engineering assessment of the actual rails. Scrap rails are sold for melting or re-rolling unless reuse is agreed.
It depends on the product and the lot. The minimum quantity, price and delivery terms are set out in the written quotation.
Used cast-iron and aluminium engine blocks for remanufacturers and metal recyclers.
Primary aluminium ingots and secondary casting-alloy ingots for remelting, alloying and die casting.
Aluminium alloy vehicle wheel scrap for secondary aluminium smelters and foundries.
