The refined oil is bright, transparent, pale yellow, and nearly odorless. Oleic/linoleic acid ratios in the refined variety range from 1 to 2 (30% vs. around 65%). The high oleic type has a linoleic acid concentration of roughly 10% at the expense of an oleic level exceeding 75%.
